Am trying to update the Liverpool-Manchester line Wiki article with the junctions so are there any other junctions missing (that are still used):

Liverpool-Manchester via Warrington Central (South line)
Lime Street (all services into Lime Street)
Edge Hill East Junction (to the Liverpool-Huyton line)
    Allerton West Junction (to WCML)
Hunts Cross Junction (to Merseyrail Northern Line)
Glazebrook East (OOU, but services to Stockport, and used as a holding point)
    Trafford Park Junction (for Euroterminal)
Castlefield Junction (where lines to Manchester converge)

Liverpool-Manchester via Newton-le-Willows (North line)
Lime Street (all services into Lime Street)
Edge Hill East Junction (to the Liverpool-Warrington Ctrl line)
Bootle Branch Junction (to Bootle Freight Line)
    Huyton Junction (to Wigan Line)
Winwick Junction (for Warrington Bank Quay)
N-le-W Junction (for daily service Liverpool-Wigan via NLW) aka Golborne
Parkside East Jn (additional link to WCML)
Castlefield Junction (where lines to Manchester converge)

Ordsall Ln Jn (for divergence of MCV and MAN trains)

Cheers GM and Shaun :P, I don't think the Network Rail Maps were up to date :P.

One or two I can add - Glazebrooke East on the CLC route (branch to Partington, although I suspect it's currently OOU) and Parkside East Jcn (other side of triangular link to WCML) on the L&M route. There's also Ordsall Lane Jcn (where the Picc & Vic lines split and Windsor Link joins) in Salford and the Weaste branch down to the Manchester Ship Canal which diverges at Eccles to include.

Glazebrook East Junction on Liverpool-Manchester via Warrington.

N-le-W Junction is better known as Golborne Junction.

Ordsall Lane Jn betwen Eccles and Castlefield Jn.

Think the others are listed.

Edit: Beat me to it GMac  Concerning Glazebrook East Jn it's just a passing loop now I think, to let late running EMT/FTPE services to pass.

On the Chat Moss line (North line), official junctions are:

Edge Hill West Jn

Edge Hill East Jn (to Waterloo sidings, Wapping sidings & Edge Hill carriage sidings)

Bootle Branch Jn (to Bootle Jn)

Huyton Jn (to St Helens Central)

Earlestown West Jn
Earlestown East Jn (both head Southwards to Winwick Jn / WCML Southbound)

Newton-le-Willows Jn
Parkside Jn (both head Northwards to Lowton Jn and then further North to Golborne Jn & WCML Northbound, also spur to former Parkside Colliery siding)

Eccles Station Jn (at Eccles the Weaste branch single line diverges and then continues East/Southbound to the BCI sidings by diving under the Chat Moss lines)

Ordsall Lane Jn (Chat Moss lines carry on to Deal St Jn / Manchester Victoria, Bolton lines carry on to Castlefield Jn (where the CLC lines from Lime St converge) / Deansgate then Oxford Rd lines to Piccadilly)

Signalling is TCB throughout since the abolition of Rainhill Signalbox, controlling signalboxes are:

Manchester Piccadilly (MP)
Eccles (ES)
Astley (AY)
Warrington (WN)
Huyton (HN)
Edge Hill (LE)
Liverpool Lime St (LS)

approaching Lime St the tunnels are:

Tunnel Rd Tunnel
Overbury St Tunnel
Smithdown Lane Tunnel
Crown St Tunnel
Mount Pleasant Tunnel
Lime St Tunnel
Russell St Tunnel

Thanks for that VicDriver, I didn't know about some of that.

Also from December, Olive Mount Jn will be back.

Cheers for that :)
Am guessing the tunnels are the same on the CLC line?

Think in terms of signalling details the CLC is:
Liverpool Lime Street (LS) (Lime St control)
Liverpool Edge Hill (LE) (End of the tunnel to Mossley Hill)
Allerton (AN) (Mossley Hill-South Parkway)
Hunts Cross (HC or HX, can never remember which) (South Parkway to Hough Green)
Warrington Central (WC) (Hough Green to WAC end of the Padgate platform)
Glazebrook East (GE) (BWD end of the Padgate platform to Urmston)
Manchester Pic (MP) (Urmston to route terminus)

The tunnels are indeed the same on the CLC line, the fasts and slows converge to the East of Edge Hill.

You're correct with the signalling on CLC, all TCB except Glazebrook East Jn which is Absolute Block.

Hunts Cross is HC.

Aye, just after Edge Hill Traincare Depot IIRC, as without the points trains on the route through the platform 4s would end up in the depot :P
